Applications for the Pleasant Valley Hospital (PVH) Health Foundation Scholars Program, which provides financial assistance to local students pursuing careers in health care, are now available.
High school guidance counselors and families who wish to request applications for their student may do so by calling Georgianna Tillis at 304.675.4340, ext. 1423, or by emailing email@example.com. Applications can also be downloaded from the website by visiting pvalley.org/about/pvh-foundation/scholarships.
The PVH Health Foundation initiated the financial aid program in the late 1980s to support health care professionals in both the Ohio Valley and state of West Virginia, and to offset the increasing costs of higher education. Since that time, 216 students have benefited from the scholarship program.
To be eligible for financial assistance from the PVH Health Foundation, the recipient must:
