Aaron Blevins, PharmD, MHA, has been named Chief Pharmacy Officer for Mountain Health Network (MHN).
As Chief Pharmacy Officer, Blevins will be responsible for the leadership and management of the system pharmacy team, leading them in the use of evidence-based clinical decision making for drug use while controlling pharmaceutical expenses and maximizing patient benefit.
“There are patient care needs across the region, both in hospital and in the community, for which pharmacists can improve health care. Mountain Health addressing those needs by advancing pharmacy services is incredibly important,” said Kevin W. Yingling, RPh, MD, FACP, CEO of MHN and president of Cabell Huntington Hospital (CHH) and St. Mary’s Medical Center (SMMC). “I am pleased to have someone with Aaron’s extensive pharmacy experience leading those efforts.”
